What Cause For Singing!
What Cause For Singing
“O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth ... For He cometh ... to judge the earth: He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with His truth.” Psalm 96:1,13
What a day! What cause for singing! No longer will all peoples of the earth be carried about with every wind of doctrine and sleight of men. The Lord will establish His truth so that “the world ... shall not be moved” (Ps. 96:10). Then there will finally be justice – real, true, life-changing justice – in this world of injustice, for He will judge with equity.
This “new song” begins in heaven (Rev. 14:3) and comes to earth through the 144,000 Jews which are redeemed from the earth, 12,000 out of every tribe of Israel, having the Lamb’s Father’s name in their foreheads (Rev. 7:3; 14:1).
There will be a multitude in heaven at this time, singing the song of Moses and of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvelous are Thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are Thy ways, Thou King of saints” (Rev. 15:3).
Is there a new song in your heart today? Is it a song of worship?

Sing Of Him Who Rose Again Jesus died, and then arose; Yes, He rose, He lives to reign;
He will vanquish all His foes when to earth He comes again;
His the triumph and the crown, His the glory and renown.
Sing we, then, of Him who died, sing of Him who rose again;
By His blood we’re justified, and with Him we hope to reign:
Yes, we look to see our Lord, and to share His bright reward! By Thomas Kelly
