“I am constantly tempted to go back to my old way of life.”
February 2011 – Grace & Truth Magazine
It is hard for me to imagine how I could ever grow spiritually without receiving your magazine. All your articles are Christ-exalting. I am constantly tempted to go back to my old way of life, but am helped by rereading the UpLook article entitled “Dealing With Doubts” (J/A ’08). — Philippines
I thank God for the great work He is doing in the lives of all who read Grace & Truth. I read the Response for encouragement each month. I also thank the Lord for the excellent Serving article entitled “Motivation For Evangelism” (J/A ’09). It has awakened my slumbering passion for reaching unbelievers. — Nigeria
A sincere thank you for sending me your magazine this past year. Please renew my subscription. The Serving articles are my favorite because the Lord uses them to rekindle His fire to serve in me. — Nigeria
I appreciate your magazine and read it with great blessing. Only the Family article about remarriage (Sept. ’09) made me sad. According to my personal conviction remarriage is not biblical. The point of view of Jesus is not mentioned in the article. But in many years this is the first article I did not like. Please continue your wonderful work. — Germany
A copy of your magazine (Nov. ’09) was given to me by a friend who got it from another friend. I found it wonderfully interesting and informative, and would be grateful if I could receive it on a monthly basis. — Guyana
The February 2009 issue was written just for me. The Good News article, “More Than Dirty Shoes,” made me take a good look at myself. It pricked my conscience about my many sins and how they wronged my Savior and Lord. Please pray for me, and please renew my subscription. — Nigeria
The Feature article entitled “Some Observations On Psalm 8” (May ’09) mentioned “Paradise regained.” In the millennium, death will still be there as a result of sin. God’s thoughts are not to restore, but to “make all things new” (Rev. 21:5), so we look for a new creation. — England
