God Loves You
What About This?
The Bible says, “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (Jn. 3:16 NKJV ).
Nothing demonstrates God’s love for us like Jesus Christ taking “our sins in His own body” on Calvary’s cross. (1 Pet. 2:24). God hates sin, but loves sinners. He gave His Son to take the punishment for your sins. Can you understand such love?
What Made Him Die?
Can you look at Jesus Christ on Calvary’s cross and say that God does not love you? “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom. 5:8).
Even after being nailed to that cross, what did He say? “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do” (Lk. 23:34). Your sins nailed Him to the cross, yet He is willing to forgive you. That is love!
What Will You Do?
Can you ignore such love? Think about this: “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life” (Jn. 3:36). Jesus offers you His love, eternal life and a home in heaven. To receive these wonderful things, all you have to do is confess that you are a sinner and accept Him as your Savior. Will you do it now? We can tell you how.
