“Let us humbly admit that our ignorance is great.”
June 2009 – Grace & Truth Magazine
I have been reading your magazine for a decade. God knows the wealth of knowledge about Him and His Word I’ve acquired. One of the most helpful articles has been the Feature article on “The Unseen World Of Demons” (Mar. ’05). I refer to it often when helping others understand demonic activity. — Nigeria
The Issues article “Evolution And God” (Feb. ’08) is a good discussion of the biblical account of creation, but it leaves unanswered the question, “How did God do it?” The Bible says God “commanded” it but doesn’t say how. Why not? Because that’s irrelevant to its purposes! Let us humbly admit that our ignorance is great, and stress the purpose of Genesis 1-3, which is to teach us that God created everything, and that man needs a Savior. — USA
I am grateful for those who pay for my subscription. Surely God blesses them as He uses them to bless me. I am especially ministered to by the Family column. It gives much encouragement to this threatened way of life. — Nigeria
I thank you for all the work your writers put into their articles. They are doing a brilliant job. I am in the Royal Navy and conduct services when we are at sea. I put out 10 copies of your magazine after one service and they were all taken. Is it possible for me to get 10 copies each month? — England
I am using the Discover column to teach in our church. We began with “Women Of The Old Testament” (May - Dec. ’06) and are now continuing with “Men Of The Old Testament” (Jan. ’07 - Jan. ’08). This study has taught us much and helped us to openly discuss issues affecting us. — Kenya
I cannot thank you enough for the Christmas message, “Christian Giving Is More Than Christmas Giving” (Dec. ’04). I’ve read it each year since then as a reminder of the true meaning of Christmas. I am completing my university studies, so please note my change of address. I don’t want to miss an issue. — Nigeria
I spoke in prison recently, and used the Feature article entitled “Can We Bind Satan?” (Mar. ’05) as my source. It caused much concern among the prisoners who said that so many preachers pray that they can bind Satan. Thank you for giving me the truth. — India
