“The so-called “problem” of homosexuality is not going away.”
June 2011 – Grace & Truth Magazine
I greatly appreciated the Issues article, “Homosexuality: Some Facts And Observations” (Mar. ’10) as it was an account of facts gathered from a major longitudinal study by two highly qualified psychologists. The so-called “problem” of homosexuality is not going away; this article gives us a scripturally-based approach to living with and helping those in our churches who struggle with this issue. — USA
The Emphasis column entitled “He Forgives. Will You?” (Sept. ’09) was the straw that broke this stubborn camel’s back! It made me to see the importance of forgiving others, as doing so makes me more Christ-like. — Nigeria
The “National Day of Prayer” article really addressed an issue in the news in May 2010. Why all the fussing over whether or not we should have one, and who should or shouldn’t be allowed to pray in DC in the “big” one? Your Issues article (May ’10) pointed out some interesting things about its origin, and also asked some really significant questions. Keep up the good work. — USA
Please renew my subscription to your highly fruitful magazine. I am always touched by the Emphasis, Feature and Family columns, especially the recent Feature article entitled “What Is Faith?” (Dec. ’09). We thank God for those who donate to support your ministry. I support you in prayer. I also thank the Lord for your affiliate office in Nigeria. — Nigeria
I liked everything about the April 2010 issue. Read it from cover to cover in one sitting. Then passed it on at our Bible study. The three Feature articles on the “Finished Work Of Christ” helped me a lot. As a prisoner, I have a lot of time to think, and sometimes I get to doubting. These three articles fit together so well, and got rid of all my problems. I’m not writing this just to get on your Response page, but it would be nice to see my little testimony there to encourage others to read your great little magazine. — USA
Your monthly magazine has really helped in building my faith. The Serving article “He Thought, They Thought” (Sept. ’09 ) has taught me to rely on my faith rather than on my reasoning when it comes to serving God. — Nigeria
