“God is using you to bless individuals, families and churches in His vineyard.”
March 2011 – Grace & Truth Magazine
God is using you to bless individuals, families and churches in His vineyard. I thank you for helping me understand more about the apostle Paul in your Features (Feb. ’09) – his life, ministry and letters to the Church. — Nigeria
The Features on “Faith” (Dec. ’09) are excellent. But “Faith And The Word of God” used the KJV and the word “science” (1 Tim. 6:20) leads to misunderstanding. Vine says, “Science in the modern sense ... is unknown in Scripture.” It is better translated as “knowledge” of Gnostic teaching which Timothy was to avoid. There is no opposition to scientific truth. Many born-again scientists believe that “all things were created by Him” and don’t interpret facts according to the interpretation of “young-earth creationism.” Such scientists don’t oppose Genesis, just that interpretation. — USA
The answer to the You Asked question as to who is the Morning Star (J/A ’09) was very revealing. It is the answer I needed to hear. I pray the Lord will continue to meet the needs of your other readers, as you have mine. — Nigeria
The Feature article, “Adam And Eve Covered” (Jan. ’10) caused me to rethink my perspective on many things. I have often hidden behind the “fig leaves” of education and culture, and have been reaching for the leaves of accomplishment and wealth to cover my nakedness. I have even embraced the leaf of religion for the wrong reasons. I was stunned by the simple truth of this article. I look forward to more articles like this in future issues. — USA
I have learned so much from the answer to the question, “Where was Jesus between His death and resurrection?” (You Asked, Apr. ’08). At first I did not agree with the writer who said Jesus did not go to hell. But when I did more research I found that the writer was correct and I was not. — Kenya
The UpLook article on the importance of forgiveness (Feb. ’09) was a blessing. It helped me discover the benefits of forgiving over not doing so. Please renew my subscription, and let’s have more articles on forgiveness. — Nigeria
