Since We Are The Lord’s
“Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” — Romans 8:34-35 NKJV
What can separate us from Him Who has given up His life? Though at times our sight becomes dim,
Soon we’ll stand in glory with Him, Hear, “This is His bride, His wife.”
All that blinds us then will vanish; We shall know as we are known. Gone our sorrow, gone our anguish –
Ne’er to leave and ne’er to perish – There in our eternal home.
Future though its fullness, we rest, Sharers e’en now in that day. Things of earth – none of them are best:
“They shall perish; Thou remainest.” Here we start Thine endless praise!
God, “according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.” — 1 Peter 1:3-4
