The Answer

The Answer“Hear, O LORD, when I cry ... and answer me.”
Psalm 27:7 NKJV

Thou art the Answer to my soul’s deep longing, My Holiness to cleanse and free from sin. Thou art my Peace ’mid toils and burdens thronging, Encouragement and Balm for griefs within.
Thou art my Strength when mind and body falter, My Joy, my Treasure when earth’s comforts flee. My body, bound by love upon Thine altar, In life or death belongeth unto Thee.
Thou art my Shelter when life’s storms surround me, My Light of life when earthly candles fade. O’er circumstances Victor I have found Thee; All things to me by God Thou hast been made.
Not more than Thee, O Lord, my heart is craving: Than Thee, nought more the universe can know; But, more of Thee, Thyself my heart engraving, That through my life Thy loveliness may show.
