“Did you know that ... the Sanhedrin voted to remove this book from the Jewish canon as it was too risque?”
May 2012 – Grace & Truth Magazine
Your Good News article, “What Shall We Do?” (May ’10) has been a big help to me. I was down financially, disappointed and tired of my bad business condition. I was in my office thinking what to do, and just picked up your magazine. This article healed my wound! Pray for God’s intervention in my business. — Nigeria
I cannot thank you and God enough for how much I benefit from your magazine. I read every article. The October 2010 edition has been a great blessing, especially the Feature articles on good works. Any serious reader can understand that though good works don’t save, they are evidence of genuine salvation. — Nigeria
I enjoyed your Features on the Song of Songs (Mar. ’11). Did you know that one time in Jewish history the Sanhedrin voted to remove this book from the Jewish canon (Tanakh) as it was too risque? One of the most learned rabbis, Akiva, spoke for three days to convince them that it interplayed with all other books in the canon and was the most important. They then voted to keep it. — USA
The Feature articles on the existence of God (Sep. ’10) have provided me with more good insights on the doctrine of God and creation. Equally, the Feature articles on true friendship (Feb. ’10) have widened my scope of understanding the concept of friendship. Thank you for such good writing. — Nigeria
Thank you for the March, April & May 2011 issues of your magazine. I am pleased that your Features were on The Song of Solomon (Mar. ’11). I have a back copy of your magazine from July 1965 in which the Song of Solomon was also featured. The magazine was about half the size of today’s and had no pictures at all. I was pleased recently to discover your website. Please continue to send the magazine to me. While it does not take precedence over reading Scripture, it does help to some extent, through the guiding of the Holy Spirit. — South Africa
