Your harsh verdict on David’s wife Michal was depressing (Series, Jun. ’08). How do you think Michal felt when she was restored to David only to find herself competing with other women? Endorsing David’s polygamy is unscriptural. The Bible calls it adultery. David may have been God’s man, but he paid a bitter price for departing from God’s plan of one man for one woman. — England
