“I have been using your studies on ‘Women Of The Old Testament’ to teach in a women’s conference.”
Your Series, “Does God Want Us To Be Rich?” (Feb.-Apr. ’07) has really blessed me. We have been studying how to be financially free in Sunday school and this Series has been a great help. Thanks for my free subscription. – Ukraine

I love your magazine because I have learned a lot and been refreshed by the many well-written articles. I especially loved your three Feature articles about eternity (Nov. ’03) which I just recently read. – South Africa
Thank you for sending me the back issues containing the Series entitled “The Making Of A Shepherd” (May-Jul. ’00). I pastor a church in a remote village and am very grateful for the help you so generously give me. – Nigeria
The figurative term “stretched out” (in “The Big Stretch” Issues, Jun. ’08), used 11 times in the Old Testament to describe creation, is essentially that used by modern interpreters of what we observe in nature. They conclude that the universe began as a singularity which began to expand, or inflate, until it attained its present size. This process was first called “the big bang” by cosmologist Fred Hoyle to disparage the “stretch” idea, but his phrase is misleading because the inflation was quite unlike an explosion. Of further interest is the fact that estimation of the rate of expansion can be used with Hubble’s law “to calculate the age of the universe.” The fact that the age so calculated agrees approximately with those ages derived from a variety of different radio-active dating techniques is also of significance (Peebles, et al, “The Cosmic Life Cycle – Origins Of The Universe,” Scientific American, pp. 35-37). – USA
As I write this I am holding my first issue of your magazine, April 2008. It is wonderful, and I look forward to more good articles. I live in a land where much people do not know God. – Viet Nam
