The sixth son of Obed-edom, who with his family constituted one of the courses of doorkeepers in the time of David; to them was allotted charge of the S. gate (of the Temple) and the storehouse ( 1 Chronicles 26:1-32 , esp. 1 Chronicles 26:5; 1 Chronicles 26:15 ). 4 .
