“I am not going to worship images any more!”

I found an old copy of your magazine in the ship’s library, and have been reading it in my cabin. The Good News article entitled “I Am A Liberated Woman” (Jun. ’03) told the same story as my life. I am not going to worship images any more, and am now looking for new religion. Anything you can e-mail me to help me in my search will be food for my soul. Thank you for the Issues article entitled “Healthy, Wealthy And Wise?” (Apr. ’09). It refreshed me. Isn’t it something how we can lose the understanding we have of things, of how they seem to have been chipped away, and we cannot regain them and then the Holy Spirit arrives. — USA
Thank God for the deliverance offered me by your magazine, especially the one with Feature articles about New Testament Paradoxes (Oct. ’08). I was passing through some serious trials. I started reading the Bible and kept stumbling over paradoxes which I saw as contradictions. This issue came when I needed it and explained these paradoxes to me, and got me saved. — India

Your magazine has been helping me study God’s Word. But I disagree with the June 2009 Series article which states: “We don’t have to give thanks for everything that happens to us; it says in our circumstances, not for them.” Ephesians 5:20 tells us to give thanks always for all things. Peter wrote that we should rejoice that we “partake of Christ’s suffering” (1 Pet. 4:13). If we believe Romans 8:28, we can give thanks for all circumstances. — USA
